Marek Lowther – Managing Director
Originally graduating in Technology Engineering, Marek has persued a career in Sales & Marketing, spending the last 20 years in the IT and Telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Telindus, Marek held a number of senior management and general management positions in organisations such as Compaq and Cable & Wireless.
At Compaq, Marek originally had responsibility for the development of the oil and energy sector. This was followed by local and central Government, and he then went on to develop, build and implement Compaq’s first SME business in EMEA, during which he gained considerable experience in e-commerce and CRM. After a relatively short period of developing and leading a managed and professional services business, he joined Cable & Wireless as director for indirect channels. During his time at C&W he built a highly successful data channel organisation focused on the delivery of IPVPN based solutions to the UK mid markets. He then moved to Telefonica O2 as head of O2’s SME and unified communications business before joining Telindus, originally Sales and Marketing Director and then as Managing Director in July 2011.
Marek passionately believes that the development and evolution of the Telindus business must be fuelled by real customer insight and the ability to execute better than anyone else in the market against that insight in terms of the propositions, services and solutions it delivers. “Telindus is full of highly capable, talented people. My job is simply to create and maintain and environment to allow those people to consistently deliver high value and high quality solutions to our customers”.
Jo Macarty – Sales & Marketing Director
Jo joined Telindus in 2011 to drive additional focus through the sales operation and develop new products and solutions that deliver clear business benefit to Telindus’ customers. Jo has over 21 years industry experience at board level/senior positions.
Jo brings to Telindus a wealth of experience in senior sales and marketing roles within the ICT arena, including key organisations, Huawei Technologies, Fibernet/Global Crossing and NTL. Having worked for both vendors and service providers, and driven both direct and indirect sales channels, Jo has a clear and in-depth understanding of the needs and challenges of the full range of Telindus’ current and potential customers.
Rob Baynes – Operations Director
Rob joined Telindus in 2007 and has held a number of senior roles in operations: Head of Operations and Projects, Head of Technical Operations, finally taking up the role of Operations Director in 2011. In his current role, Rob is transforming Telindus’ operations, to drive improvements in efficiency and continually improve levels of customer satisfaction.
Rob began his career at IBM, since when he has worked for twenty years in the IT, internet and telecommunications sectors, in systems engineering, operations management and also as Managing Director of specialist software company, Sigma Freight Systems Ltd.
Mark Fletcher – Finance Director
Mark joined Telindus in 2011 to enhance the business’ board level decision making at both a financial and commercial level. He also driving additional focus throughout the finance and business services teams to deliver improved service to employees, shareholders, partners and customers.
A qualified accountant, Mark has 10+ years experience in senior finance roles in fast moving technology and services businesses. He has held board positions in public and private organisations, venture and private equity backed start-ups and took both Axon Global and Cartucho Group through Initial Public Offerings.
Mark joined Telindus following a year-long interim assignment with a Cambridge based high tech manufacturing company, which followed his involvement in a BT video-based technology spin-out.
Danny Warwick – Development Director
Danny began his career in British Army’s Communications arm - The Royal Signals. Having joined as a Radio Technician, and working on a number of key installations around the world, his career developed from technical engineering to Communications Management, finally becoming the Installation Design Authority for Telecommunications/IT systems for the province of Northern Ireland.
At this point, Danny decided to leave the army, and joined systems integrator, K-Net – later bought by Telindus, as Senior Systems engineer. Since then, Danny has held a number of both operational and customer facing roles, in technical account management, service delivery management, bid management and operations. He has been a member of the senior management team for a number of years, firstly as Head of Operations, and for over two years as Director for Partner and Supplier Strategy, before taking on his current role in late 2011.
