Following recent expansions in Sweden and the Netherlands, Telindus is building its European presence with an expansion of its operations in Ireland. As well as considerably upgrading its existence in Belfast, Telindus is expanding with new offices and recruitment in Dublin.

 

20 new posts will be created in addition to existing staff with recruitment already underway. Telindus will also be investing in larger premises including an innovation centre, staging labs and over €2.5M of spares to support existing and new customers.

 

Telindus Ireland country manager, Darragh Richardson, explained that the reason behind the expansion is threefold. Firstly, to meet a growing demand in Ireland for an innovative, international integrator with a track record of success. “This means an integrator who works with its customers to help them transform their business, focusing on the value IT can create within a business over the long term. We don’t believe in short term, commoditised technology for the sake of technology and Irish firms need a much better service than this to compete both at home and internationally,” Richardson said.

 

Secondly, Telindus already has a healthy business run from its Belfast office, including a number of flagship accounts which have won numerous awards over the past three years. Richardson added, “This gives us important references sites which new customers rightly demand when looking to move to a new integrator.”

 

The final important factor is a significant support network which has grown throughout Europe in the past 37 years. Telindus has clearly stated, as the ICT services arm of Belgacom, its ambition to be a champion in the European landscape. 

 

“Building on our substantial presence throughout Europe and the Far East means we can leverage group resources and expertise to deliver long term business advantage to both local and international companies with operations anywhere in Ireland,” Richardson concluded.
