Telindus appoints it industry veteran Hutchinson to UK managing director
Odiham, UK - 23 March, 2006 - Telindus today announced the promotion of Mark Hutchinson to UK managing director. Hutchinson, who was acting UK managing director since September 2005, previously held the role of sales director with responsibility for managing a sales team of 50 people, strategic account planning and the development of the Telindus sales academy in the UK.
Telindus is an expert in delivering vendor-independent business and technology-focused network solutions and provide secure, high quality multimedia networks supported by operational services.
Hutchinson's remit at Telindus is to position the company as a one stop shop integrator of mobile and fixed networks. He has a strong track record in developing and closing business with enterprise organisations throughout his career.
Hutchinson has more than two decades of IT sales experience in the technology, latterly specializing in security and IP convergence. He joined Telindus in 2004 from IBM Tivoli where he spent two years as System Integration Development Manager for UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
Prior to IBM Tivoli Hutchinson was director for Northern Europe of Evidian, then part of Groupe Bull. During his four year tenure he reorganised the group and focussed its commercial remit on security.
