Carrier Ethernet Demonstration and Proof-of-Concept Facility

It is widely recognised that Ethernet represents a well-understood, mass-deployed enterprise centric technology which is evolving to provide a carrier grade, commercially attractive solution to underpin Next Generation Network transformation. Carrier Ethernet is well suited to the needs of a bandwidth hungry world, scaling from below 10M to 10G, and growing to 100G as standards and technology develop and mature. It therefore represents the logical alternative to a multitude of legacy technologies that are already in decline, enabling organisations to benefit from potentially significant operational efficiencies.
 
In order to help you achieve this transition, Telindus have developed a purpose built facility in which customers can conduct a variety of testing, such as:
  • Demonstrations of new technologies and features
  • Demonstrations of application examples and sample solutions
  • Proof-of-Concept (PoC) testing
  • Interoperability with a wide variety of vendor equipment
The facility consists of a range of high-end routing and switching technologies from a range of leading vendors such as Juniper Networks, ADVA Optical Networking, IXIA Communications and others. It also includes 100km of optical fibre, traffic generation components, and virtualised servers for supporting services such as RADIUS, and DHCP. These are all incorporated in a dedicated and secure standard rack environment in which additional components can be introduced. Where supported all systems in the facility are available with full control and forwarding plane redundancy. Additionally secure remote desktop and device access is available to the facility.
