Highways Agency
Innovative IP CCTV network for the UK Highways Agency
The Highways Agency is an Executive Agency of the UK's Department of Transport that is responsible for operating, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in England. It currently manages and maintains 35 networks transmitting video, voice and data signals from over 20,000 roadside devices. The National Roads Telecommunications Services (NRTS) project is designed to establish a single national approach to the future of the communications network on England's motorway and trunk-roads network. Telindus, the network services provider, has been chosen to design, implement and support an IP switched CCTV system.

London Underground Data
Travel at the speed of light through London Underground's tunnel system
London Underground Limited (LUL) needed to be able to accommodate a massive increase in data demand and therefore needed to improve bandwidth and reduce congestion. With a network that spanned over 100 buildings spread across many miles, a highly flexible solution was required. Understanding the non-stop nature of LUL's data communications network and IT systems meant that Telindus were able to design, plan and implement a suitable solution for them.

London Underground Video
London Underground install digital video network
When London Underground took the decision to upgrade to a digital video surveillance system, they approached Telindus to supply the solution. As part of £1.2 billion investment, the new system will enable the transport provider to operate video surveillance across the whole of the underground network, using Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) technology.

WiFi takes off at Manchester Airport
With traffic set to double to around 40 million passengers per annum by 2015, MAG needed to look at a range of ways to increase customer service and capacity, and implement new approaches to meet ongoing customer requirements.
M25
Telindus works with the Highways Agency to bring the M25 CCTV system up to speed
Since the final section was completed 12 years ago the M25 has come under increasing strain. Congestion is all to evident and The Highways Agency realised they needed to adopt a new and innovative solution to provide respite and the alleviate the problem. Telindus was chosen to implement a networked CCTV system covering the whole of the motorway.
