Mark Hutchinson started his career at Telindus in early 2004 and became Managing Director for the UK in September 2005. He has played a pivotal role in the company’s development, and is responsible for positioning the company as a one stop shop for next generation mobile and fixed networks, and spearheading the company’s growth. 

 

Prior to joining Telindus, he spent two years at IBM Tivoli as System Integration Development Director for UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. Previous roles include Director Northern Europe for Evidian, then part of Groupe Bull and prior to this at the software giant, Computer Associates.

 

Mark has a keen interest in sport and is an avid Manchester United fan.  Also, in the past he represented Lancashire at cricket at senior level.

 

Mark is married with three children and lives in Cheshire. 

 

 

As Telindus’ Commercial Director and Company Secretary, Peter Dowdeswell brings almost 30 years’ expertise in finance and commercial law to the role.   He joined the company in 2000 and is responsible for all company secretarial matters and the company’s legal affairs. 

 

In his capacity as Company Secretary, Peter retains direct contact with the organisation’s strategic accounts and has recently managed contractual negotiations with customers such as Vertex/City of Westminster, Virgin Media and NRTS (National Road Telecommunications Services).  He also sits as a member of the Telindus’ Executive Committee.

 

Before his role at Telindus, Peter spent six years at Environet Ltd as Finance Director and Company Secretary where he was instrumental in driving the company’s growth and its subsequent sale to Bull.  Prior to this, he was Finance Director and Company Secretary for Wootton Jeffries Ltd., a transportation software and consultancy company, where he drove a management buy-out (MBO) in 1990 and the company’s subsequent sale to WS Atkins in 1994. 

 

Peter qualified as a chartered accountant in the early 1970s and his first job was at Peat Marwick International (PMI), known today as KPMG.  He left Peat Marwick in 1977 and held senior financial roles at BOC and the Thorn EMI Group before joining Wootton Jeffries Ltd.

 

 

Dave Bottone joined Telindus in November 2006 bringing extensive experience of both IT and business process outsourcing in the public, financial, manufacturing, retail and distribution sectors. Today, he is responsible for the strategic development of Telindus Professional and Operational Services to support the drive for growth of Telindus’ outsourced services within the UK.

 

Throughout his career Dave has been instrumental in setting up and growing outsourcing businesses and in establishing strategy and direction, both in the UK and internationally. He comes to Telindus from Northgate Information Solutions, where he was Managing Director of the Business Services Division, developing outsourced services to public and corporate sector clients.

 

Prior to Northgate Dave was a founder member of the executive board at Siemens Business Services (SBS) contributing to the successful growth and operational development from start up in 1997 to over £400m p.a. by 2003. Latterly as the Divisional MD for IT Services at SBS, he secured major contracts such as KPMG, RBS and Insignia Richard Ellis.

 

 

Paul Burch joined Telindus in December 2007 bringing with him more than 25 years’ experience in the ICT services industry, having held senior positions in companies like Getronics, PinkRoccade, Computeraid, IBM and Data Sciences. He has a solid background in sales, marketing and business development, running multiple business units and securing high-profile account wins with mid-to-top tier organisations.

 

In his role as Sales and Marketing Director, Paul is responsible for continuing to drive Telindus’ position as a leading ICT specialist and managed services provider. He is also tasked with helping to develop Telindus’ market led solutions and service propositions, which will underpin growth plans for the business over the next few years.

 

With an impressive track-record in business development and sales growth Paul is bringing a new level of leadership to support our sales teams and to ensure real business value is delivered to our clients both in the UK and globally.

Mark Pettican – Human Resources Director
 
Mark Pettican joined Telindus in April 2006 as Human Resources Director overseeing reward and remuneration, talent management and learning, strategic business partnering, payroll, and recruitment and performance management.

 

In this role, Mark is committed to making a difference and driving HR value in line with business strategy. His focus is to ensure that learning, development and reward are integrated as a key part of the organisational agenda, and to provide an infrastructure and guidance to Telindus in all aspects of employee interaction.

 

Prior to Telindus, Mark worked for VIA Networks where he aligned HR Strategy on a pan European basis and coordinated HR activity across several company acquisitions. He also spent time as an independent consultant at several organisations including Colt & Telstra Europe where, following various acquisition activity, he ran a successful cultural alignment programme. Mark has also held senior HR positions at KPNQwest and Telewest.
