Belgacom, Belgium’s leading telecom operator, acquires Telindus in a strategic move to become a European market leader in ICT.
Telindus continues as an autonomous company and becomes Belgacom’s international growth vehicle for ICT Services.
2005
Successful acquisition of Arche Communication in France, making France the 2nd market presence for Telindus. Telindus now has 54 operational subsidiaries and branches in 14 countries all over Europe and South East Asia and employs more than 2,600 people.
Agreements have been reached with distributors in more than 50 other countries.

Launch of the Flagship 2006 plan, accelerating the strategic shift from products to services.

2002 starts off in mourning as John Cordier (aged 60) passes away on 22 January.

To meet the goal of becoming Europe’s number 1 network integrator and to accelerate growth, Telindus acquires complementary companies across Europe.
Telindus explores opportunities outside Europe. In addition to
the Asian headquarters in Thailand, Telindus acquires network
integrators based in Thailand, Hong Kong and China.

Telinfo raises EUR 160 million in preparation of its international
Expansion strategy.

Infrastructure and security service capabilities for pan-European operators become further established by the late 1990s.

Together with France Télécom, Telindus wins Belgium’s second
GSM license. New-born Mobistar goes live in a record 9 months,
setting an unequalled track record in the industry.
