Telindus Supports African Endurance Race

Company sponsors rider in 'Enduro Africa' motorbike challenge for Riders For Health

Odiham, UK - 19th April, 2006 - Telindus (Euronext Brussels, ticker: TEL), an expert in delivering vendor-independent business and technology-focused network solutions, is supporting the 'Enduro Africa' motorbike challenge by sponsoring one of its challengers, Ian Crownshaw from DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary ("DLA Piper"), a legal firm and Telindus customer.

A 14-day, 2,500km off-road endurance challenge across some of the toughest terrain in Africa, 'Enduro Africa' will raise money for Riders For Health - a charity to help alleviate the issues of getting medical aid and workers to where it is needed in Africa.  The challenge takes place in November starting in Port Elizabeth and ending in the mountains of Lesotho.  The money raised will purchase a new Honda motorbike, which will initially be used in the race and then given to the charity, and a supplementary cash donation.

"Riders' aim is to put in place a sustainable and reliable preventative maintenance system for two and four wheeled vehicles, enabling health workers to deliver essential healthcare to the African people," said Ian Crownshaw, technical architect at DLA Piper and intrepid 'Enduro Africa' challenger.  "I am looking forward to the challenge and want to thank Telindus for its generous donation.  This will go a long way to providing the kind of care the African people deserve."

"We are delighted to be supporting Ian in his ride and wish him every success in his fundraising," added Darragh Richardson, Market Development Manager at Telindus.
