ISO 9001 (International Organization for Standardization) specifies an elaborate set of requirements for a quality management system making an organisation demonstrate its ability to provide products that fulfil customer and applicable regulatory demands and aim at enhancing customer satisfaction. Telindus acknowledges that in order to succesfully operate an organisation of its type and size the need for systematic and transparent control has become a reality. The implementation and maintenance of the ISO management system that is designed to continually improve performance whilst addressing the needs of all parties, has proven to be very effective. The achievement of quality goals has a positive impact on product quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance and thus on the satisfaction and confidence of interested parties.
Without a doubt, managing an international business requires quality management and other management principles that support and result in improved performance. Eight principles have been identified, i.e. customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
